Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Caregiver to join our team and provide comprehensive care for our clients. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with a variety of daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and help with meal planning and preparation
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as needed
• Engage clients in stimulating activities, such as conversation, games, or light exercise, to promote physical and mental well-being
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, light cleaning, and organizing
• Monitor clients' health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical professionals
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care
• Respect client privacy and confidentiality at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Caregiver or in a similar healthcare role
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare providers
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for our clients
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist clients with mobility as needed
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA)
• Experience working with clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments
• First aid and CPR certification
• Fluency in multiple languages

Schedule & Location

This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays. The work location will be primarily in the homes of our clients within the [city/region] area.
