Driver Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a Driver Assistant to support our primary driver and ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services. As a Driver Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our fleet.

Responsibilities

• Assist the primary driver with pre-trip inspections, fueling, and basic vehicle maintenance tasks
• Provide navigation support, including route planning and turn-by-turn directions
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to provide updates on arrival times and any service changes
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle's interior
• Offer exceptional customer service to all passengers, responding to their needs and inquiries
• Comply with all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned by the primary driver or management

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with the primary driver and other team members
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a driver or in a customer service role
• Familiarity with the local area and its transportation routes
• Multilingual abilities (e.g., fluency in English and another language)

Schedule & Location

This is a full-time position based in our main office location. The schedule may vary depending on the needs of our transportation services, and may include evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
